Before you rely on this document TalentCivic is a business in formation and is not yet incorporated. These terms describe how the TalentCivic website and its planned staffing services operate under the TalentCivic name today; they are not issued by a registered legal entity and will be reissued under our formal corporate name once incorporation is complete. This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer - treat it as a good-faith draft, not legal advice, until it has been.

1. Who we are

TalentCivic ("we," "us," "our") recruits, vets, and places candidates onto government staffing contracts across administrative, technical, program, and field disciplines. This website is operated from Canada.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, submitting your information to us, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information to us.

3. Our services

We offer three engagement types: Contract Staffing, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire, as described on our How We Staff You section. Specific terms of any placement or staffing engagement will be set out separately in a written agreement with the government agency or organization we're working with.

4. For candidates

Submitting your information to us (by email or, once live, through our Talent Network) does not guarantee placement on any contract.
You're responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide us, including your work history, discipline, and clearance or suitability status.
We will only share your information with a prospective employer or government agency with your knowledge, as part of pursuing a specific opportunity.

5. For government agencies and employers

Submitting a staffing request does not guarantee availability of a matching candidate.
Any actual staffing engagement, including pricing, timelines, and deliverables, will be governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.

6. Website content and intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, belongs to TalentCivic (or is used with permission) and may not be copied or reused without our consent.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to use this site to submit false information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the site's normal operation.

8. Disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but we don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TalentCivic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services, beyond what's set out in any separate written agreement governing a specific engagement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable within it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business develops, particularly once incorporation is complete. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
